As much as you guys talk about touring reputation and production, the tour being as good as it is and doing decently is kinda a miracle. Idk how the setlist could be longer or production more grandiose considering it was all done in literally 3-4 weeks

and they literally delayed the tour to double the rehearsal time. imagine what we would've gotten in the original amount of time
When you think about it, DWT had no problems despite the craziness in her personal life and poor reputation. But the era was huge so the tour never suffered. Those things definitely correlate.
This era was so disjointed in the beginning and even now... she basically lost a year of time whichi I imagine would've given us more promo AND given them more time to put together the show AND given her more time to tour. I mean, she was supposed to do a tour with Kanye last year plus release an album but none of it happened. Considering the various forms of limbo we as fans have been in these past two years, I can only imagine how a casual fan would react
She announced the ANTI world tour when most people didn't even know what ANTI was, released ANTI on accident and then it got overshadowed by the release method, missed the one major chance at promo... and then the tour started

as much as we can criticize the tour and even her, I would certainly blame the messiness of this era for the quick tour, short setlist, selling problems, etc.
I guess the blame is on her and her team tbh.
That being said, I kind of like that she is essentially hitting the reset button with acting projects, festivals, and a break. By the time she comes back with new music hopefully the mess will be behind us. The Super Bowl would be great in helping her reset but I don't want her to do it without enough time to prep. You need months to put it all together so I don't see how she could do it this year. I guess it depends on how large her roles are in Bates Motel/Ocean 8 but yeah... saving it as a comeback to music OR a goodbye before settling down makes more sense to me
