Despite Lovato ranking fourth on the list, she's certainly broadened her appeal by serving as a judge this season on Fox TV's "The X Factor." The spotlight surely helped her celebrate her first No. 1 on Billboard's Pop Songs chart, "Give Your Heart a Break," in September.
On the Billboard 200, she's reached No. 2 with 2008's "Don't Forget" (519,000 sold to date), No. 1 with 2009's "Here We Go Again" (479,000) and No. 4 with last year's "Unbroken" (402,000).
Lovato's top digital songs sales? "Give Your Heart a Break" (1,563,000); "Skyscraper" (1,220,000); "Don't Forget" (962,000); "La La Land" (853,000); "This Is Me" (with Joe Jonas) (848,000); "Here We Go Again" (816,000); "Get Back" (560,000); "One and the Same" (with Gomez) (315,000); "We'll Be a Dream" (We the Kings featuring Lovato) (282,000); and "Catch Me" (221,000).
A Hollywood Records representative confirms that no more singles will be released from "Unbroken" following "Give Your Heart a Break" (although I think that the title cut could've been a big pop radio hit).
But … a new Lovato single is "currently scheduled for release early next year." It will be a brand new track from her next CD, with the song and album's title and release dates to be announced.
