This is Nicki Minaj who has very explicit lyrics. This isn't Taylor swift. Nicki doesn't care about being pg. And tbh neither do most

It isn't no could. It should have been nominated. Provocative but not wasteful. How is it wasteful yet it was the thing people remember most about 2014 and had massive exposure.
There have been videos in the passed like wrecking ball, toxic ( I believe) that were very sexual in nature and were nominated and won. It was a clear bias

It was very successful and was streamed heavily on spotify. I don't understand the whole not successful thing. It was acclaimed (one of the best of 2014) and she gained a lot of fans with the TPP. She was the most streamed female artist on spotify in the the U.S. in 2015 and top 3 globally. She was most played on urban radios in 2015 after fetty. She had 4 songs all in the top 10 rap/r&B charts in 2015
