As much as I'm loving this season, I'm afraid that it's all going too fast, that storylines are moving full throttle compared to past seasons. I'm saying this and I know that I'm being a hypocrite in doing so, but I do love being lost in this world, so I don't want it to end anytime soon. I just hope there is enough story to be told so we can get another two full seasons before it ends. It's a weird thing to complain about.

Having that said, I completely loved this episode! I'm loving where the big plots are going - the North is about to go on war, Cersei is preparing action against the High Sparrow (and I have a feeling it will backfire big time), and Dany, the badass, finally returned!

I cheered at the Stark reunion, six seasons in the making.

yeah, I read that they want shorter seasons to finish the series, so I'm worried that that the story progression will feel rushed.

The story does feel a little rushed but we can't really blame the writers. We think we are coming to the end of the Song of Ice and Fire story but there are probably a lot of huge events left. GRRM and D&D worked closely together on what the next set of events was going to be and we might be in for a lot more than to expect.

I don't think it's going to wrap up as easy as John taking Winterfell from Ramsey and Dany gathering a Dothraki army and finally heading to Westeros. We probably still have a lot of major storylines in development.

This is the surface of that the series has yet to scratch:
- The result of the Iron Island kingsmoot and Balon Greyjoy's brothers sailing out to conquer Westeros lands. One book story arch actually had one of them set off to Essos to find Dany. Another brother left to conquer Highgarden.
- Aegon Targaryen (Dany's cousin, not yet introduced in the TV show, and Jon Connington conquering the Storm Lands.
- Lady Stonehart and the army she is gathering.
- The s*** building up in Dorne.
- White walkers continuing to move further South.

That's the thing that worries me, maybe I didn't express myself very well, if the show's creators manage to get the shorter seasons like they intended, how are they gonna manage all those potential storylines in just 19 episodes? But I'm probably getting ahead of myself.

I also think that, unlike certain GRRMs, D&D won't give tons of prominence to people who didn't even exist in the first half of the series/three books slash seasons.
