I think I just discovered Mariah's biggest secret! In 1993, she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and the father was her loverboy of that time. Tommy Mottola found out that she was not pregnant with his baby, but still wanted her to keep on delivering those huge album sales, so he hired a double to perform in front of the crowds while Mariah would sing behind the curtains, hence the reason she does that at the beginning of Glitter. So, Mariah and Tommy agreed that the baby would be adopted. A nice couple adopted the baby girl, who was named Ariana Grande and Mariah was really sad about having her baby adopted. So, she wrote the song Always be my baby, but didn't want the public to know about it, so she changed "Girl you'll always be my baby" into "Boy you'll always be my baby". Years later, Ariana inherited Mariah's innate singing ability and the whistle register and they will both collaborate tommorow on a new song that will be Mariah's second single, that will be released on October 24th. Just kidding, this is completely false, don't report my post for that, I just wanted to have fun while writing this fiction
I'm That Chick should of been a single, it was originally going to be the first single before TMB
I would be OK with it being a single, but not the lead single from the album. It just seems to immature to me. I wouldn't want people thinking it represents the whole album.
Longtime musical collaborators take their business relationship to a new level
NEW YORK, Oct. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The two hit makers have written and produced some of the biggest songs in the world, most recently having grabbed an armload of Grammys for their collaboration on the critically acclaimed global phenomenon, "The Emancipation of Mimi."
The blockbuster record spawned "We Belong Together," which was crowned "SONG OF THE DECADE" by Billboard Magazine just two years ago.
"A multi-talented artist of Mariah's caliber should be doing everything imaginable. I'm sure others have said this but not the way I intend to do it. For me, it's about the execution," says Dupri. Carey adds, "We have a bond that surpasses music. I am super excited about our merger because we have so many innovative ideas that I know will come to fruition."
Mariah's rep, Cindi Berger, who was in the studio with her the other night, says, "I've never seen Mariah so passionate about what she will be revealing to her fans very, very soon."
