To be fair I really like them all and think they have outstanding designs aside from Sylveon who just messes everything up.

I disagree. All the others before Sylveon were just okay but Sylveon came out of nowhere and blew them out of the water with its innovative, extraordinary, and extravagant design which went away from the norm of the evolutions. All the other Eeveelutions and their cohesive designs were cool but Sylveons was just amazing. The only thing different was its eyes which fit because it was introducing a new type, it needed to be different.
