I've never played through the Kanto games in full. I don't know if I should play LeafGreen or my dusty copies of Blue/Yellow or download these for the 3DS when they come out.

Well RBY are only good for the nostalgia factor otherwise FRLG are vastly superior.
Can't people just buy HGSS if they want to revisit Kanto? Like...
I think some people just want to start from Kanto at the beginning rather than having to put in some effort to go through an entire different region first. Also G/S Kanto isn't exactly the same as R/B/Y Kanto.
