Because no one really cares? Who here do you see saying "OMG SLAYYYY SELENA!!" LIke no one. But you Demi stans are like "Omg I never thought it would do this well!"
Like it was just discounted and went form #20 to #5. Hell Even Jason Derulo went Top 10 with Marry Me after it was discounted.
It's not really much of an achievement especially for an established act. I would be able to understand the discount like Katy Perry did for Last Friday Night if it meant it was going #1 on the Hot 100, but this is literally just doing it so it will be able to reach Top 10 on iTunes. That's not impressive at all... Don't see how people are making such a big deal about it.
I personally like Demi. I've had Kingdom Come on repeat. But rising so much after being discounted isn't impressive because as soon as the discount is removed it will tank.
