Wrong, wrong and also wrong. The most viewed music video (and video in general) is PSY's Gangnam Style, it also holds the record for fastest to 1 billion views, a little more than 5 months, it took Taylor almost 8 months with Blank Space. GS has almost 10 million likes, BS only has 4.6 million.

When he said "I don't know about YT" it meant that he didn't know about Youtube, and therefore he was talking about Vevo instead, so his comment was right. But since you had the nerve to try to play smart, let me inform you that it's "See You Again" that actually holds the record for fastest climb to 1B+

It took GS 159 days and SYA 184 days. I'm confident you can play smart and tell which number is smaller, right?
He never mentioned Vevo, he just said "music video" when the question's poster was talking about videos, I'd assume videos in general since he didn't specify "music videos". Taylor's asterisk (Vevo) wasn't featured.
Anyhow, you are wrong.

Welp, you're right. That happens when i believe the media instead of calculating myself (i mean, your source for See You Again claimed it to be the fastest, even though it isn't)
However, there is no need of having an asterisk to discuss Taylor's VEVO record because we're literally on a thread about Adele breaking Vevo records. So, if anything, you're the one being off topic and attempting to correct people that clearly stated they didn't know about Youtube, on a thread about Vevo stats
