I just think a lot of monsters are so shallowly obsessed with her needing to come off odd to be considered artistic that they end up writing something like DWUW off just because it has the potential to be commercially successful. When in actuality its just as challenging not only vocally but also because of her foray into an unfamiliar genre for her. She doesn't have to release something lyrically random and be polarizing to be considered artful or have her Gaga brand be reputable. Its about making good music.

This could actually become my favorite Gaga song ever.

And people need to tell the difference between a good song and singleworthy song. Just because a song is good doesn't mean that it's commercial and ready to smash. Venus sounds like it'll be a great song, but it would NOT smash in any sense of the word.

Same goes for the people who seem to dislike Venus just because it's not radio-friendly.
