True, maybe. That post makes me question "if they want to give all options to the US then why not everyone else?" but Gagz and Ke$ha did the same. I'd say Ke$ha's EP did fine though - obviously it was a big step down from Animal but ~500k is a fine amount by most standards (espech with only two singles) and it's a lot more impressive than the what, 100k max that Paradise will likely end up with? I suppose not offering the separate (!) EP would LOOK better but if they care more about getting the most sales possible (but only in the country that cares least about her!) then that's their choice.
