Not a stan but damn at Demi working it. So much improvement from her banana dress, hair and make up last week.
I can't at Britney's dress though, the opposite of last weeks classy look. The material is there but there's no contour at all to compliment Britney's athletic built.
Britney Spears is Already Scoring Way More Points on The X Factor Than Christina Aguliera Ever Has On The Voice!
Look, so no one said there was going to be a Britney Spears on The X Factor versus Christina Aguilera on The Voice rivalry . . . but come on, we can't help but compare just a teeny bit. Especially when we're finding out how drastically different they're handling similar situations on their respective shows.
So what am I referring to? Okay, so to review--Christina's claim to fame on last season of The Voice was basically that she wanted nothing to do with her former Mickey Mouse Club co-star turned contestant Tony Lucca. She didn't even recognize him during auditions (and was blatantly not a fan throughout the competition).
Now what does this have to do with Britney's judging style on The X Factor? Well, reports are coming out of the San Francisco auditions held on Sunday that Britney also came face to face with a blast from the past. It wasn't a former MMCer but instead a former labelmate who recorded a duet with Brit that appeared on her very first album Baby One More Time. His name is Don Philip and the song was called "I Will Still Love You." It was never released as a single but Brit performed it on her early tours--sometimes with Don.
When Don stood before the judges panel, Britney immediately recognized him and was so happy to see him, telling judges Demi Lovato, Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid. "We did a duet together 10 years ago." An emotional Don told Britney, "I'm gay. At the time I didn't think I was worthy. I didn't think you thought it was okay that I am gay." To which Britney responded, "I think it is fine you are gay." Britney comforted Don when he began to cry--and she even teared up during his audition song. Now we don't know if Don made it through or not, but it's still so heartwarming to hear about the moment he shared with Britney.
