AVG: 7.29 Kelly, 9.71 Britney; so 0 vs. 3 top 5 and 5 vs. 6 top 10's (hopefully 6 vs. 7 in two months or so's time). Even if Britney's new song went no. 1 (which it basically can't, since it's been eight years since a non-R&B/hip-hop song has done it), her average would only go down to 7.71.

Kelly's stellar record of more songs with higher peaks does make it harder for any new song of hers to be seen as doing well comparatively with her past songs. Thus far, though, for Kelly's less successful singles: 60. Low, 28. Because of You Duet, 47. Never Again, and 62. My Life Would Suck. At least it (hopefully) won't be long before she surpasses a couple of them.

As for show coverage, Gossip Girl's people very expertly selects the perfect songs for the perfect occasions, so I only want this song on there if it actually fits. Some shows seem to just plop songs on just so there can be music there. And GG vs. 90210, in the only age group advertisers (and thus networks) care about (18-49), it's 1.976 million vs. 1.855 million. AND they're talking about making a new Melrose Place. So I have a feeling 90210 is far from over, even though it seems like a really sucky show.

i agree, it will debut at #1 for sure if it didnt debut in the 90's this week for airplay. This song is going to have SOOOOOO much digital sales, probably will beat T.I.'s Live Your life wich had 300000 .. she will have probably a bit over that I think

I just put all the songs debuts in the Top 40.

Never again actually debuted at like #41, MLWSWY is taking off ALOT faster than Never Again.
