Did anyone else notice that even the standard on Amazon UK says limited edition? The closed eyes cover does too, but I assumed that was in regards to the different cover. And iTunes UK is still showing the longer track times. Maybe the track times really are longer in Europe...
Yeah well it isn't technically a museum lol, it's just called that. She partnered with mymusicvip for this. Usually you would have to pay for a VIP ticket which typically is in the thousands for access like this. But Janet said she wanted to reward music lovers and those who still buy albums. So as a reward for buying her album you'll access into a room before the show to look at her most iconic outfits and her awards. It's kinda how the Rock Hall is set up, but it's just her stuff. She'll also randomly pick two people before the show who bought tickets and upgrade them to first row. Kinda like a raffle. I was hoping she would release a new song each week leading up to the album like others have done. I think if people have bought 4-5 tracks before release it's easier to get them to buy the whole album.
I have a copy from the bundle I bought from her website, Itunes pre-order, Amazon pre-order. I plan on buying 2 copies the day of release. I also plan on ordering the UK limited edition that's 6 copies from me alone. I don't mind giving Janet my coins though. I'm just ready to hear the music.
I literally never do this for an artist, but I currently have a website copy, the itunes pre-order, now the target edition, and the eyes closed UK edition, and possibly the japanese edition if that bonus track ends up being more than just a random remix.
Might cancel the iTunes copy, just since I already have No Sleeep solo, plus I would just end up deleting it and replacing it with the CD version since cd quality is better than iTunes quality. Also I wish I had just bought the mp3 version from her website since I literally just did it to access the mymusicvip thing and her shipping was ridiculous.
I like the Target cover so much more but since that pic isn't a square, it may be a digipak and those always get thrashed around no matter how much you try to keep them in good condition.
Or some form of promo.
