I agree. I would've never guessed that she'd move on from the retro, breezy effect of 4 to such dense and left-field musical territory with this record. Despite that, it seems people are really enjoying it, which speaks loads to her (and her producer's) ability to infuse these very modern beats with solid musicality and hooks.
I'm sure it's #1 but still
