But it is so worth it, what separates the rhoc from the other series is it's a lifestyle type of show. Making it the most authentic out of the entire franchise. Let's break down the evolution of the show
The Classic Era:
Season 1-3 - You have to look at it from a 2006-2007 standpoint. The dynamic will remind you a lot of more so old school true life/real world. The girls don't really interact with each other. Most of the drama occurs between each individual's family. The seasons are really short and the episodes are packed with a lot of story lines.
Season 4 - this is where the show starts to change (and it's best season imo). A lot of scandal/drama and confrontations occur during this season
The Breakout Era:
Season 5-7 - The show is still entertaining but you can tell it's more produced in comparison to the past seasons. The story lines at this point start to get a bit repetitive and a the posers start being cast. So the show get's a lot more trashy but the season 6 reunion is ICONIC. This is where most of the most memorable moments happen for the series and where it get's it's reputation from
Season 8: This is the show at it's most dramatic, the drama is literally so constant it's almost unbelievable. You could see a lot of behind the scenes drama starting to infiltrate the show more and more. The show is known to have the best season finales out of the series and this is where the season finales peak in the epic scale
The Current Era:
Season 9 - is a refreshing reboot to the series we get some new girls. The show starts to lass it up some more because now everyone on the cast is pretty wealthy. It's a bit slow but makes up for it with some humor
Season 10 - The season starts off slow heats up towards the middle but then ends on a weak conclusion.
