I don't think it did last year considering everyone else's sales were terrible and extremely low. I don't expect Susan to sell like last time, but I expect her album to sell like Bocelli's did last year. Plus, her album is being marketed as a Christmas album. She'll do fine regardless.

Um, where is the bias? Everyone will be affected in a way, but Susan won't as much because of the factors in her favor (coming off from fast-selling album, older crowd, Christmas marketed album, etc.). She's better off than all of the pop stars being mentioned in here. That's just the truth.

Oh, and I'm not a stan, but I enjoy her swiping your faves' wigs.

I don't know about Nicki. She's great in features, but I'm not sure she has clout as a solo artist yet. I agree with your projection, though. 175-200k is my guess.

I thought The Fame Monster was the album released in the same week as Susan's debut. Shouldn't we compare those albums? TFM has had 3 SMASH singles despite being an EP. Did IDAD?

It's not a fair comparison. TFM was an EP. EPs don't sell easy - look at Usher. It still did 1.3M in the U.S., and the deluxe edition has consistently outsold it. Plus, around the world, in the long run she outsold Susan.

But she has Monster Ball Tour that is expected to gross $200 Million to support her EP. Did Susan?

Plus that -don't sell-easy outsold so many LPs after its release. It's pretty fair to compare her EP(It's GAGA) with a LP.
