None of his solo albums have reached 500,000 in sales in the US, so it's not like his sales are that great either

Future is a very popular artist right now and has been for a little while now.
Anyways, this is dumb. They need to drop it and work things out behind closed doors. Their son will see all this foolery in the future.

Yeah, RIGHT NOW, just like Ci once was and he'll also be in the future (no pun intended) so stop acting like he's some huge artist and please he's hardly been popular for a while more like since the break up
Also the only one that needs to drop anything is Future, he's the one who airs out their mess publicly, Ciara has YET to actually speak on this matter aside from being asked about him in interviews in the past.

Ciara has never had the amount of visible impact that Future is experiencing right now. A song that is a direct mimicry of his style, flow, everything is about to be #1 on the charts in the next few weeks.... Ciara was popular once, but so was Cyndi Lauper, and no one is citing her as a main influence for their work. Future is a club god and will go down as such.

I know I might get dragged, but some of you really overestimate Future's success. There, I said it.
He only has 2 smashes and both of them feature Drake. His only album to cross 500k in pure sales is also a collaboration with Drake. All his other singles and all his other albums were either moderate successes or underperformances. He has a lot of impact and visibility in the hip hop crowd, more than Ciara currently has, but come on...

Ciara already has a #1 single to her name. A REAL, DIRECT #1. Not a #1 by another artist who was influenced by her

Ciara's already been here for 12 years despite the ups and downs. Rappers tend to have a short shelf life. I respect your opinion about Future and maybe you're right, but I wouldn't be surprised if he became the T-Pain of the 2010's (well, with more street cred and acclaim but still). Let's not get ahead of ourselves. He's been hot for 3 years, not 30.

Well Ciara obviously thought that Future was gonna be irrelevant, and her career was gonna bounce back upon leaving him.. Except the opposite of everything she thought happened. He blew up, and her career continued to falter.
She's probably seething, and that's why she hit him with that lawsuit. This is getting very ugly. They both just need to chill out, and keep each other's name out of their mouths. But I know its hard when you have Ciara out here putting on a whole media circus lol. Just all around petty.

I respect your opinion about Future and you might be right, but he might also turn out to be the slightly more respected T-Pain of the 2010's. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Nah. Future has been around way before he blew up recently because of white people. He has a HUGE following in the Urban community and is like a street god. The amount of mainstream hits he has is irrelevant when he's been popping off of mixtapes for YEARS before this. Just because white people just started paying attention to him doesn't mean that defines his relevance. It's not overstated Future is and has been huge in the Urban community for awhile now and has a very strong and adamant fanbase that has been building since his first mixtape. Mentioning his album sales and where his songs peak on billboard isn't really relevant considering MAJORITY of his following and career has been built off of mixtape/street rap

1. Future's success is really understated if anything, but k
2. i do not care about 'smashes', there are more important things than the charts, like influence
3. and????????? so does Flo Rida. Anyone can get a #1, not everyone is influential. Ciara certainly isn't.
4. I can get on board with this point; there's no real way to discern what future will be remember for as his career isn't close to being over. Ciara being 'here' for 12 years and that's a real loose use of the word here isn't really doing anything for her when she's getting outclassed at whatever genre she attempts. Designiier may be getting a #1, but he's not gonna get Future's success. No one is doing trap better than Future RIGHT NOW and people were always doing R&B better than Ciara... this one's a lil subjective but hey that's why we have opinions anyway
love u Truth Teller, but nah

And you took this elsewhere
The point is Future isn't as big as some of these trolls in this thread are making him out to be.
Call me when he gets a #1 single or Grammy (nomination for that matter)

You're right, he is huge in the community and I respect that. I don't know about "street god", but you probably know more about this than me, since I don't keep up with him that much, so I can't argue on that either.
I just feel like A LOT of people online (and here) act if he's some A-lister while Ciara is a nobody. He's way hotter than her right now in the hip hop crowds, I acknowledge that, but she used to be huge too. Credibility and impact are important, but when it comes to actual success, he's not flying that much higher than Ciara was in her prime. That's all.
Let me try to keep it cute though, cause I'm biased

He is though. Nobody is trolling he is absolutely huge in the Urban community.
Again, none of this stuff is relevant considering his main fanbase isn't the type that gets you #1 songs (and majority of his discography is from FREE mixtapes) He is a STREET god.
****** stan and go hard for Future like bitches stan for Beyonce (am referring to black people jsyk). Like #futurehive is really real
