I love the French part, but it actually
really pisses me off how the French is wrong. Like, no one could have bothered to check to see if it was correct? It loses its greatness because of it.
After "Alouette-ouette-ouette," she tries to say "déployer les ailes" (deploy the wings), which I think should be "déployer vos ailes" (deploy your wings), but that's beside the point. When there's an 's' before a vowel, you pronounce 'les' like 'lez' and 'ailes' should be pronounced like 'elle' and not like the verb 'aller' (al-lay). Haha. I sound like a total snob saying all that, but it's like, if you're going to say or sing something in French, make sure what you're saying is right. Right?
With all that being said, when that part comes, I try to sing over her in what it should be.
