I think it's smart how her team is treating her album, which is presumably holding out on it being available for streaming for a while before putting it out there (like how movies have a waiting period before they premiere on HBO). It's shrewd as far as a profit strategy goes, but it's doesn't read as
completely dismissive of streaming. It's the same thing Beyonce did.

IA. Though I find it kind of telling how literally everyone was against Taylor when she said the exact same thing a few months ago, but as soon as Adele champions the cause, everyone is all "yaass queen I agree streaming is flawed!"

I think it's the way Taylor delivered her message that annoyed people. She came off as super self righteous in her comments, and her boyfriend typing out that cringeworthy tweet about her "changing the music industry" made most people on here collectively roll their eyes. Regardless, I think it's annoying how none of these artists act like the labels aren't the real culprit when it comes to spreading the wealth of streaming. They just seem against streaming, period - which is stupid because there was no going back after Napster. They don't seem to get that streaming is not the enemy, and that at least it's cutting down and making some sort of profit instead of straight up piracy.
