Discussion: Why hasn't Bey outsold her peers?

Like I said before it is unfair to compare another artist's full career discography and leave part of Beyonce's out. We all know she outsold most of the people in the OP no need to act brand new.

I mean...
Beyonce vs. Aaliyah
Beyonce vs. Ashanti
Beyonce vs. Alicia Keys
Beyonce vs. Ciara
Beyonce vs. Jennifer Hudson
Beyonce vs. Britney
Beyonce vs. Rihanna
Beyonce vs. Taylor Swift
Look at all the generations of #1 competitors that she's been through... Those she hasn't DESTROYED, she's stayed on par with.
I just... woo!

Take away 20 million of Britney's albums and she's still outsold everyone in the OP, including Xtina.

X and Britney and Norah started in the late 90s and Bey started in 2003 solo.
Messy.

No it doesn't.
Two separate acts...just like beyonce and destiny's child and many others.
The only exceptions I can think of that might still be combined from a business standpoint are the ones where it has a group with a feature like Diana ross and the supremes because back then the group would get more funding doing that.
Beyonce has always done decent but yeah there really isn't much of an explanation as to why her numbers aren't as high other than people just were not that into buying her albums.
Now they are into seeing her in concert.
I think the first phase of her career
radio > single sales > album sales=touring
now
Touring>>> urban radio>>>>>>> album sales>>>>>>>single sales
and I'm not entirely sure why but it is what it is

This is so typical of the hive (and Beyonce's pr machine). Attempting to erase the past to make it seem like she is much bigger than she actually is

why are people trying to avoid the subject by saying Beyonce is the standard because she hasn't outsold many of her peers? LOL
It's no different than people asking why Mandy moore didn't outsell Jessica, Britney or christina. Doesn't make her a standard just makes people wonder what she could have done to be bigger

Your dumb ass logic
People in 2015 only care about who is relevant in 2015 and guess who is the most relevant of them ? BEYONCÉ, sorry Trent you lost, as usual

People will also remember her success with DC, so no need to say "solo career".
And streaming is the future so in 20 years they'll probably see her streaming stats too which are the highest for her.

i mean if we're going to say "bey's peers" and we're not including DC that started at the same time as those in the OP, Bey's peers are Rihanna, Ciara, Ashanti.
also to make it fair if we're going to consider the people in the OP Bey's peers you should only include sales from 2003-present! Since that's when Bey came on the scene!
