This Is How We Do by Katy has like 400M views and it's far from being a big hit. Video streams have long surpassed song sales and it continues to grow w/ more and more people hitting 500M and 1B views easily. With that said, Selena's vid only had ~200M views.

Katy is a one of the top global popstars since 2008 her videos always get lots of views wether they're flops or not. Selena is a well known name, her music while successful is not so global.
