Pristine, an "insider" at LD, said those comments, where he apparently works for RCA Australia. Xtina Web took his comments, put them in interview form, and called it an interview.
So it's not exactly "fake". These comments and questions DID happen and can be searched on LD right now. "Fake" is a convenient way out of the truth, whichever however you slice it, Alexz has put it best in this thread rationalizing for stans as to why this song flopped so hard.
Maybe ill timed, but gave the stans a scapegoat and RCA and Aguilera bad press.
So everybody wins.
