probably 4-6! One day for needle/museum, one day for pike place/shopping, one day for aquarium/tour, one day for the zoo or Tillicum ( ) village which is really cool, and I always like to have a day or two to redo something again. You wont regret staying an extra day.

I was 16, I stayed at my then-boyfriend's place who was 16 too, and his mom drove us around the area. Everyone was really nice to me, I loved it... but the food was the problem, I lost 6 pounds

Milan is only good for shopping, but apart from the Duomo it's an ugly, gray city. Paris is so overrated, I think it'll let you down. Idk about London. The rest of Italy is flawless, you'll love it. And where in Russia are you originally from?
|
I've heard that Milan looks like Moscow
Yes, from photos Italy is flawless!!
If my budget doesn't allow, I might just go to Italy and skip Paris/London
I don't live there anymore, I live in Indianapolis, USA. But I used to live in Moscow and Siberia
My friend who is coming from Moscow to Italy with me knows Italian and has studied there

I really want to go to Moscow and Kazan'. I went to Saint Petersburg in June 2009 for one week. It was really warm and sunny every day and everyone was like, yeah we hadn't seen one week of sun in like a lifetime I toured the city and the Leningrad Oblast' and I really enjoyed it. It's all a bit fatiscent and decaying but that's Russia's charm I guess.

Moscow and Kazan are very neat cities. Moscow has been getting better and richer in recent years. It's basically one of the top European cities now.
And Kazan has great politicians who know how to keep the city good. They have an amazing fort downtown and beautiful churches/mosques
Yeah, St P. is gloomy and dark most of the year, you were lucky! Petergof though>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
It has breathtaking palaces
There is some charm and uniqueness to those decaying landscapes. I kind of miss some of them..
I was born in this city (Tolyatti) and used to visit it every summer

I would never live in Russia tho. It's nice to visit, but first of all I dislike your president, and also, I would never want to live in an apartment. I could get a dacha in the middle of nowhere or a cute lil wooden house in the center of Gorno-Altajsk, but overall I wouldn't live there
But I want to visit several parts of it:
- Kamchatka
- Trekking on the Altaj
- Gulag and ghost town tour in the Magadan oblast'
- Pskov+Smolensk
- Karelia and the White Sea
- Moscow and the Golden Ring
- Kazan'

Your school has a traveling agency?
Do you mean like the study abroad department or something else?

No, its a live "classroom" travel agency where we can book any kind of travel. Were studying to be travel agents / tourism.

i LOVE traveling alone
I can go eat where I want, go out to see what I want to see and club where I want to. Then I can also meet a guy while I'm traveling and have a little fling wherever I travel without worrying about friends or company.

I don't know where to go next. Tempted to go to Prague next year to do TEFL as I want to stay in Europe but going to Vietnam or China might be life changing.

I went to Berlin for 5 days by myself. It was nice because it allowed me to be spontaneous and do the things I was really interested in (certain museums, shopping, one morning I just chilled in Starbucks etc.). As a female, I did feel a bit unsafe sometimes in the evenings though. But that's the only downside, really.

Prague looks so amazing, I don't think you'd regret it, even if it's just for a few days. I would love to go but my problem is I hate going to countries where I don't speak the language :/

If you travel alone please get a cellphone that works in the country/city you're in. Hopefully you won't need it at all but in case of emergency you will, if you can't then at least install Line or WhatsApp in your phone
the ATM didn't return me my debit card under the Eiffel Tower and I couldn't get anyone to help me
I am going to Prague this Saturday, I'm so excited
