Te Amo still has a chance to be the summer single, especially if Rockstar underperforms. All of her singles have been released within one or two months of each other this era, especially the more recent singles.

October - December : Russian Roulette
December - February: Hard
March/April: Rude Boy
Early April: Rockstar 101

It seems like everything is being rushed, just to throw things out there to see what catches on. So I could see Te Amo being released in Late May/Early June

Woah slow down!!! RB isn't gonna be done until May. R101 is starting now, but I think that song will last from May - Mid July. Then, they will probably release Te Amo & have that go until early September.

They hyped up Rude Boy while Hard was still getting plays. Then they rushed RB to radio and brought out the video early in the month, and Hard died down. That happened pretty fast, and it feels like the same is going to happen with Rockstar.

But Hard was underperforming, so they just wanted to end it early cause they knew RB would do better.

How did Hard underperform when it peaked at # 8 on the Hot 100, # 9 on Pop radio, and peaked at 83million audience impressions? It would've gone farther, if Def Jam didn't rush release Rude Boy.

Technically, it didn't underperform @ all, but Def Jam has crazy standards for Rihanna, so they assumed it did. It probably wouldve gone top 5
