P!nk and Britney Spears are artists that haven't performed that would bring in good ratings too. Young and old people enjoy and respect P!nk and her music, and Britney is one of those inescapable iconic pop acts that even if you didn't like her back in her day, I can guarantee you the audience would sing along to a lot of her songs.

At this point it's pretty clear, at least to me, that Taylor has 0 interest on the Super Bowl.
Maybe they asked to other important artists and all of them said no. I mean it's not like the SB is some huge platform to established acts.
