This is the best showing by any album on a January chart since The Documentary by The Game (Aftermath/Geffen) debuted way back in January ’05 with a total of 587k. EMI is all but guaranteed four titles in the Top 10 next week (whoa) and has a chance for five if the first Lady Antebellum album continues its strong sales through Sunday. I can't wait to see how lil Wayne's 'rebirth' does in it's first week sales, Im expecting it to flop bc it's not rap and it leaked 2 months ago ! But it's pre order version is currently 36th on iTunes top 100 albums...

What do you all think ?? I would like to know what your expecting as first week sales for rebirth, 100k ? 200k ? Etc....

thanks for your expectation , i was just curious bc i find it can go both ways to be honest.. it can either flop and sell low like everyone is most likely expecting it to or it can really suprise and sell well, as far as i remember carter 3 was never expected to sell a million first week and it did. i know its different circumstances bc of the fact its a rockish album and it leaked way ahead of time but with wayne you never know.. cant underestimate !! plus he is performing at the grammys so it will definitely help boost sales !!

im expecting maybe 250K-300K although my hope is really 500K ( i know it prob wont happen)

GaGa having steady sales again! I guess The Fame just wont be a #1 album unfortunately but its ok because its sales are still really great and a lot of big albums never reach #1 so its not a big deal anyway...

I'm really happy at how well the Hope For Haiti album is doing though and Corinne Bailey Rae's debut is really good too since I don't think a lot of people even knew she had a single or album out!
