It's an rpg. Go in blind and when you know more finish this game and then do it again with experience.

I can't wait. Amazon still says my order is prepping. I haven't this hyped for a game since Destiny came out last year.

Yep. This is pretty much my first Fallout experience from launch so going in blind is new.

I have this week off paid to play this game. 3 more hours to go. I hope we get another Fawkes like character. She was a great sidekick.

I haven't played through FO3 yet. I'm doing that as I wait because this hype is killing me.

There's some stuff on reddit on the fo4 and fallout reddit. Like where to find pip boys and stuff.

I hope they recapture the creepy feeling of the dark and empty vaults of FO3. I always had the goosebumps whenever I explored those.

I'll probably glance at those if I get stuck somewhere.

Amazon is playing games they have yet to update my tracking I called and they're like it's one state away from you. I only bought it from them because it was $49.

Why not play it on PC? You don't get the full edition and I belive you have to wait a few days. It's like below $8 on G2A.

The more attention to detail is really nice. And the fact that they could show clips while you're installing is a promising sign. Love it.

It's first and third person, think of it as a more modern version of skyrim with more dialog options that is fully voiced.

The game is a tongue and cheek take on the 50s and you head into the vault before a nuclear fallout.

You look for items and will have run ins with other human characters who'll try to kill you.

A major tip for anyone new to this series:

Always salvage whatever you find. The most practical and the most valuable. Bobby pins for example helps you unlock safes and doors. Anything valuable that you can sell, grab it. What benefits you, keep it (like weapons until you can upgrade for something better) or an outfit that boosts one of your stats.

Constantly exploring also helps you level up and gain more perks that helps you out of anything.
