True, it's one of my favourite tracks.

Real Girl reminds me of Avril's Things I'll Never Say somehow.

Could you treat me like a real gi-gi-gi-gi-girl
Isn't that what you're here for
I'm not sure about the album as a whole so far, a lot of the songs fall kinda flat. Nocturnes is definitely better so far (I'm only up to Heroine).

With a few exceptions, she just sounds bored.
That's so true

Why is Nocturnes a success compared to this

Real Girl really isn't that impressive to me. It's so chunky awkward compared to most of the album, and that makes it seems cheaply done.
Real Girl and Taste It probably are my least favorite songs on the albums, excluding the Intro and Interlude.

Finally got around to streaming this - it's incredible! It has that early-2000s vibe to it, kinda reminds me of Fever by Kylie

Better In The Morning, Get Things Done and Business Pleasure.
My favourite album by her.

I think, over time, it will overtake Nocturnes in my ranking. Once I fully absorb and digest it.
At the moment, Nocturnes = Working Girl >> Hands.
