I think the thought of yourself waking up in a cube with strangers would be scary as hell. I like the way the characters developed as time progressed, how math played into them finding a way out, etc. I can see why it wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea, though.

Making profit is always the excuse FOR an underperforming/flop movie. It's not necessarily a great thing. If the movie is successful/smash, you're gonna make it anyways.

Same here. I went to go see Saw VI on Saturday. It was the best one since Saw III. The theater we went to was also showing Paranormal Activity about at the same time. Everyone in the theater was either going to see it or Saw VI, so I'm guessing that's a good sign for Paranormal.

I agree, but I'm sure Paranormal Activity has a lot to do with these numbers for Saw. People had to make a choice, and considering the buzz around PA, I think we know what they chose.

I was about to watch Paranormal Activity last Friday, but I watched Saw. I'm going next week, definitely.

But just like albums, sales do not reflect quality. Cirque Du Freak flopped and it was one of the best book based movies ever. It's better than Harry Potter and Twilight. I am seeing it agan it was so good. So underated.

Nop, i read somewhere they were already making SAW 7 and they are thinking about doing SAW 8.
