I hope he sticks to country to some extent. I don't want him to end up like The Band Perry. I feel like he toes the line between the genres really well right now.

HP isn't terrible tbh it's just... not a master piece. It's definitely in the bottom 4 of Montevallo though (Leave The Trash Out is #10 )

Some songs off the mixtape are worse though

As time has gone on, the Montevallo version just feels like it's trying too hard to be a pop cross over.

Also, Leave The Trash Out is a solid #9 on the album.

My personal ranking is probably:

1. Take Your Time (Probably not my favorite right now but it's just constantly in my top 3 and doesn't move up and down like some of the other tracks.)
2. Leave the Night On
3. House Party (I used to hate this but it's such a fun song and it took me forever to realize it wasn't about a literal party.)
4. Make You Miss Me
5. Cop Car
6. Break Up in a Small Town (used to be higher but I got tired that the verses had no melody)
7. Raised On It
8. Speakers
9. Ex to See
10. Single for the Summer

I honestly don't hate any song though.
