such an accurate adjective for Blank Space
I agree that LMLYD is Ellie at her plainest but she's been so perpetually on the verge of crossing over in the US that I'm just really happy for her. I think the song is fun and arguably her most immediate, though, even if I've already thoroughly played it out.
Also her voice is such a breath of fresh air on the radio, which is currently being plagued by pretty much the worst of the worst vocalists of the moment.
