You have worn green shirts for 2 years straight, and that style is generally associated to you.
Today I starting wearing a lot more green shirts. Is it far fetched to be compared to you just because it's not my first time wearing a green shirt?
Of course the comparison could very well be coincidence. FKA's style is not created by her, nor is it a phenomenon that was not already happening in the general street and fashion circles. But it is not flat out ridiculous to claim there is any sort of similarity, especially when Rihanna's brand has always been good at identifying trends and using them.

Rihanna already had that look at some point. She had already done it before two decades ago, I don't care enough neither am I a part of her team to know whether she took inspiration from FKA twigs and neither are you or your fellow Hive members who suddenly found interest in FKA twigs.
It's not something new for someone to do styles that have already been done before, as I earlier pointed out Beyonce had braids for the say yes video. Why didn't the Hive say she was copying FKA twigs then? Especially considering it was just when she was releasing her new music last year?
Why is it Rihanna also does braids like most black girls have done at some point in their lives and she's jerked off someone's style? Huh?
Rihanna is doing braids, unless it comes from her own mouth she took inspiration from FKA, you are all trying to start ****.
Trends? What trend was the red hair? What trend was Rated R hair? What trend was the hair from we found love video? What trend was from the unapologetic haircut?
Try staying to analyze something that is simply just someone reinventing herself.
