I discovered Big K.R.I.T. just late this year and Cadillactica is already on my top albums of 2014. I've always loved hip-hop ever since and he deserves more success. The album puts to shame a lot of rap albums released in the past couple of years. The title track enters my Year Ender right here at #160 with only just two weeks of eligibility. Very impressive. More of him in 2015.
2013: Ciara - Sorry
*still charting
I really like this song. It's a bit lower than what I expected. Daydreaming is the fourth track off of Paramore's latest self titled album. While it's not one of the highlights of the album for me, the song is still a good one with a lot of memories inside it.
2013: Kings of Leon - Wait For Me
Probably the best track on MMLP2. I really don't like Eminem that much and I thought his last album wasn't really on par with his earlier albums. He released two back to back mediocre albums. Hopefully his next one will be good. I like this song initially but grew old fast. Like most of his recent songs sans Not Afraid and Space Bound. I like to check him out still since I'm still believing one day he'll release another good album. Right now, not a fan.
2013: Passenger - Let Her Go
The opening track of GIRL. Kinda bleak but I did enjoy it for a short period of time. This is one of three entries of Pharrell in the chart.
2013: The Shins - Simple Song
From one of the most critically acclaimed album of the year, Syro, Aphex Twin truly shines with Minipops. For people who likes experimental music, give this a listen. I highly recommend it.
2013: OneRepublic - If I Lose Myself
*still charting
This Arctic Monkeys song was HUGE last year on my chart. It went #1 for 5 consecutive weeks in my chart and landed at #9 on my Best of 2013. I still love this song until now and I still constantly play the song. AM is a great album. This year, it still charted at #155.
2013: Matchbox Twenty - Sleeping at the Wheel
Words cannot describe my love for this song. The moment I heard it, I fell in love. There's something with the final chanting that soothes and catches me. The song is really well made lyrically and musically. This is Jessie Ware's very first entry on my chart and I'm sure as hell there will be more to come. The song enters at #154 with only 2 weeks of charting. It's currently at #12 in my chart and will surely enter the top 10. Kudos to Jessie Ware for a fantastic song!

2013: Foals - Bad Habit (this should've been wayyyy higher than this. I'm still mad after a year)
(NOT WORKING. SHE RELEASED THE HIPSTER IN HER)
Spotify hater. Why Taylor??? Let's just add back your music to the streaming service and deal with it! Anyways, Blank Space is one of the highlights on 1989 when I listened to it no wonder it was chosen as a single. The music video is fantastic! Let's see how far this song will go on my 2015 edition of Best Of.

2013: Lana del Rey - Cola
Enjoyed the song and the video for this. The song was cute but that's just about it.
2013: Chris Brown - Don't Judge Me
Ready for Back to Back Avril Lavigne eliminations? Well you should.
And the third and last song of Avril Lavigne lands at #151. I really really like this song. It deserved more from me. I'm sorry Avril.
Here's To Never Growing Up was her highest charting on the Year Ender from her self-titled at #145.
2013: Nicki Minaj / Cassie - The Boys
GREAT song. Tinashe proves to be moving forward with her distinctive sound. She's bringing early 00s R&B back and I'm not complaining. This is one of two Tinashe songs that made the Top 200 so better watch out for the other one. Aquarius btw, is a great album. Needs a few listens but it's definitely a grower.

2013: Brandy - Wildest Dreams
I find the sound of this band really similar to The Neighborhoods. I'm getting tired of Indie Pop right now though. Too bad this didn't go further. It's a nice song to be honest.
2013: Mumford & Sons - Lover of the Light
This song had the same "Say You Love Me" effect for me. I instantly loved it. I never really like Ed Sheeran's earlier releases but this one struck me bad. I was dumbfounded when I found out he wrote Say You Love Me as well. I think I need to go download his albums. After just two weeks in the chart, it found a place at #148. Great job, Ed.
2013: Foals - Late Night
Very relaxing song. I like it.
2013: J. Cole - She Knows
You know what, I really really REALLY like this song! It's just too long for me to listen to it sometimes. But I really like this song. It sucks that the length of the song hindered it to enter the Top 100 at least. I also love their new album.
2013: Eminem - Rap God
I really don't have anything to say to this song. I really didn't like it that much. Maybe at first I did but then I eventually had to remove it off my playlist. Tragedy+Time is much better in my opinion.
2013: Avril Lavigne - Here's To Never Growing Up
This is the first Avicii song I listened to. I like it. Kinda added it too late though. After so many random listens on the radio, I eventually Shazamed it and added it but I grew out of it early.
2013: Imagine Dragons - Demons
Ink is so fantastic. On this new Coldplay album, the standouts really stood out because the album as a whole is just... disappointing. As a long time Coldplay fan, I was a bit disappointed with the album. I need guitars on the next, Coldplay. I don't need some mellow type of **** indie ****. Midnight though is just eargasm but we'll talk about that later

2013: Lana del Rey - Summertime Sadness
Definitely a grower! I love this song now. It just shows so much emotions. So much. I need to relisten to her album again.

2013: Maroon 5 - Daylight
I don't know how I discovered this song but it's pretty enjoyable. The video is also pretty interesting so check it out.

2013: Christina Aguilera - Your Body
This song charted last year at #146. At least it moved up.
I think this charted just because of the apparent "Kanye diss". But I did like the song to an extent.
2013: The National - Sea of Love
Really nice song.
2013: Green Day - Let Yourself Go
Whenever I see Broken Bells all I can think of is "where is The Shins' new album"? No, Broken Bells doesn't do it for me so James better be working on it.
2013: Jars of Clay - Fall Asleep
Kongos! A new band I discovered this year. The album is fire. This is the first of three songs so hold your horses!
2013: The National - Graceless
DAN AND PATRICK, Y'ALL TOO?
I WISH THIS WAS HIGHER THAN THIS. Fantastic song. I added it at the wrongest time ever. A month of work I can't even listen to my music. Then I got pissed and changed most of my songs on my playlist. Damn. But hey, this song changed the rules of my chart for 2015 so that's great.
2013: OneRepublic - Counting Stars
A pretty nice song from Daughtry. I need them to release an "It's Not Over" type of song. I like their cheesy love songs but we need more edge. They had so much potential. It's not too late though.
2013: Birdy - People Help The People
Love them. Love their sound. More of them next year.
2013: Daughtry - Waiting for Superman
Didn't really like this and was about to skip then Nicki came on and she KILLED it. Song's still charting so expect it next year.

2013: Drake / Big Sean / 2 Chainz - All Me
The song is the slowest grower. I love it until now though so that's nice.
2013: Alabama Shakes - I Ain't The Same
I'm a sucker for chanting in songs. The chorus is LIFE.

2013: Mumford & Sons - Hopeless Wanderer
*Last year at #49 (forgot to add it)
I'll admit the song's a guilty pleasure. The video too, is SOOO cute!
2013: Of Monsters and Men - Dirty Paws
The song is good. The whole album is soooo good. Birdy is so underrated. I want ATRL to recognize this talented little girl. More of her in the next updates. Her rendition of Phoenix's 1901 by the way charted at #6 on my 2012 Best Of.
2013: Fun. - Some Nights
The second entry from KONGOS. There's another one so stay tuned!
2013: Taylor Swift - Red
Not their best but definitely still listenable. I prefer Pompeii, Oblivion and Laura Palmer.
2013: Green Day - X-Kid
I believe this is Foals' last entry in my 2014 Best Of. Good band. Can't wait for their new album which is due next year! I still can't get over how low Bad Habit is.
2013: Arctic Monkeys - One for the Road
The song is really nice but wtf at the video. She looks like a 12 year old like seriously Ariana.
It's hard to watch.

2013: Britney Spears - Perfume
Great song. Good album but I prefer Blunderbuss by a tad bit. The song charted so low because it got overshadowed by Alone In My Home, one of my favorites from Lazaretto. I added it too close to each other.
2013: Coldplay - Up In Flames
One of my least favorite tracks off Pure Heroine. The album is solid and the song is still pretty good. White Teeth Teens should've been a single!
2013: Kesha - Crazy Kids
Yup, without Demi Lovato. Cute song that got old fast. It's lucky it's up here. It should've been there with the Hall of Shame.
2013: Matchbox Twenty - Overjoyed
Cute song. Volume too low, it didn't chart well.
2013: Chris Brown / Nicki Minaj - Love More (should've charted higher too.)
Teaser for tomorrow's update:
Lana del Rey
Zedd
Cage the Elephant
JoJo
Icona Pop
See, told ya this update will be big!
