@Allstar: Yassss stan. I love both of them, though, I was really equally as slayed with 5SOS's debut as I was with Up All Night. @Hugamari: Oooop. Yeah, she definitely deserves it as she at least puts a spin on R&B and doesn't just make it the same 'ol thing. @KatyLegendperry: Thanksss! @Rider: Ahh it's so underrated, I'm glad that someone else sees its brilliance. @Dawn: Thanks @NewRihannaStan: Yes. It is, indeed. @DejaEntendu: Yeah, I agree that it really is a nice group of people. Thanks!
In an incredibly unexpected collaboration, started by an amazing performance at the Grammy's, rock and rap combine for an absolutely fantastic remix of Radioactive. It's not only one of the few lone singles I bought this year, but it's the only remix to ever debut on my weekly countdown. The original version was amazing enough, charting in the top 10 of my Best Singles list last year, and then Kendrick brings it up to an even bigger level. Providing an incredible rap, backed with a more intense instrumental, he absolutely demolishes his verse and shows that he's really one of the best in the business.
Nice newcomers! I love Tove Lo and Tinashe and I've started to get more into Sam Smith. And I really liked the remix performance Imagine Dragons & Kendrick did at the Grammy's.
Your new comers are on point. Not a fan of Sam Smith, but there's no denying he made a dent in the industry this year! Tinashe and Tove Lo are both great as well, I love Iggy and I use 5SoS! for more than just their music.
That remix of Radioactive is good too, it's unique.. I never expected a rap/rock mix would sound so good.
I really, really, REALLY should have listened to more of Sam Smith this year. "Stay With Me" was enjoyable enough, so I probably would have liked the album.
