2) That is assuming a lot of things. It's better to just not play oppression Olympics and agree that both are disadvantaged groups. It has a lot to do with the region you're in, your education, social status, etc...
3) Short and ugly are definitely social groups. whether you think they're worse off than other minorities is moot-point. Attractive and tall individuals are covertly provided privileges that others do not get. Your statement is sorta circular. "Privilege is about minority vs. majority, short and ugly aren't a minority because they aren't privileged"
. I get what you mean, I wouldn't label unattractive and short as minority groups, but they are disadvantaged groups (in the context of the western world, more specifically the US, culture is important).
