It's not a competition first of all so I don't get why he's derailing from the topic.

I live in a Hispanic community and when I think of struggles/oppression in the inner city I just group Hispanics/Blacks together anyway because they often share the same or at least similar experiences. When I'm thinking about Blacks I'm thinking about Hispanics too. Even though I may not say it I'm not excluding them. (Hope that makes sense)
