All the acts this year are so dire apart from 1 and when a judge says that the contestants shouldn't be taking risks at this stage I really worry for the show in the future.
Even all the celebrity performances have been dire so far too. (UK season)
Nicole was a different person on the UK panel, hopefully she stays the same if she returns. I wouldn't mind watching it. Though, I gave up on Season 3 after the tedious 6 chair challenge.
Wait, I read it as Nicole replacing Simon on the UK panel again once he leaves, not going to America.

Syco are hoping to clinch a deal with Fox and it looks like Cowell will draft in Nicole Scherzinger to be his replacement
It clearly states she'll be his replacement in the actual article tag line, and if he is leaving the UK to go to the US, then she'd be replacing him on the UK show.
I don't see why they would "replace" American Idol with X Factor when American Idol is still getting much better ratings than X Factor ever had. Plus X Factor airs September-December and Idol airs January-May so its not like they are interfering with each other to warrant a "replacement".

If that's the case, I can see it happening. I think Nicole has made it pretty clear that she hated being on the same panel as Simon because he always picked on her.
I'm not here for it, I need Simon on the UK show the U.S. version was a hot damn mess, I stopped watching season 1 after Simone was eliminated, I only watched season 2 for Britney, I watched like one episode of season 3 and it was terrible
