And? Sales are pitiful nowadays so it's easier to make big increases especially with major leaks like this. I mean David Guetta is #4 right now.

Lol not everyone is that pathetic. You should also lower your expectations. The only thing it'll slay is urban radio. Sales will probably be subpar considering it's an urban-only single that is very polarizing and won't be promoted. Streaming will also very likely be weak if there's no video.

Run the World is amazing. It took me a while to get used to but it is a great song. It's so empowering and upbeat and I adore the sample. I also appreciate her bravery in releasing it at the height of dancepop.
BTINH is Irreplaceable 5.0. There was no need to make it. The lyrics are cringeworthy ("it sucks to be you right now", "what goes around comes back around") and it's production is boring and basic. Add a terrible video to it and it's definitely one of her worst. I'm really not into these girly type of songs from Beyoncé anyway. I love If I Were a Boy for what it is, but that's not at all my cup of tea. I like the bold, aggressive, fierce Beyoncé, even on ballads (Dangerously in Love, Listen, I Was Here, etc.)

Beyonce has one of the worst single chronology out of all the pop girls, so it doesn't matter to me.
The song is growing on me tbh.

What yall have against pop-Beyonce? BTINH, BHG are actually listenable unlike 7/11.

If you popped your flat ass to Phresh Off The Runway do NOT come for 7/11. Both are ratchet disasters that take liquor and a club to truly appreciate.

Yes.

1. This is David's first album since NBTB, a very successful album and he has a strong fanbase and his career has lasted longer than all these pop girls. Don't underestimate him.
2. Yes, they will bandwagon. You probably will too. This is ATRL, they always do. They did the same thing with Anaconda, Animals and other songs.

I have nothing against pop Beyoncé. I love Irreplaceable (the first time it was made) and I love Halo, Sweet Dreams, etc., but not the sappy, typical and generic love songs that aren't really that great like BTINH and Broken-Hearted Girl.

It was quite risky I agree, but woo lord, the song is really bad, that's why it did how it did. As to BTINH, with its lyrics and the music video it seems even more empowering than RTW. And yep, it's kinda a rehashed Irreplaceable (one of Bey's best), so that's why I really like it, but I understand if you're not into such tracks. For me, this kind of songs fits Beyonce better, but from what I'm seeing she's doing everything to isolate herself from it and go more in the ratchet style.

In my opinion, heralding a time for women to take a stand and run the world is far more empowering than bitterly shaking it in front of your ex saying "it sucks to be you right now".

RTW aint bad at all. On first listen it was, now I love it. And I agree with the last part. Beyonce should be doing more big pop ballads rather than these songs, that will be it for 2 seconds and does nothing for her career overall.

How do boring, generic, pop ballads fit Beyoncé better when she is first and foremost an R&B singer? There is no sign of life or energy of any sort in those songs. Even though "7/11" might not be a great song, at least it seems like she was awake when she recorded it, unlike those coma-inducing pop ballads.
