ATRL also said Iggy wasn't going to happen. And would never chart on the Hot 100. ATRL stans don't mean ****.
Billboard's associate editor and one of their director of charts have said Work was a hit several times during their pop shop podcasts or w/e while the song was climbing on the Hot 100 thanks to streaming and sales alone earlier this year
the only reason why it didn't get a top 40 peak was literally because of no radio airplay (and we all know this forum member's opinions on radio's power on the Hot 100).
Work wasn't a "radio hit", I'll give you that.
But a rap song selling over 500k in 2014 with no radio support?
And getting over 100m streams on its official video while most of those views were from this year?
Not a hit?
