Live performances can be very difficult; the AI contestants really are brave. The one thing I didn't like about Gaga in the beginning was her reliance on a completely vocalized album track below her stressed live vocals.

AI contestants did bust their asses each week learning songs they either knew or weren't familiar with; that's work and dedication as well. I don't place anyone as more "deserving" or anything, the music should speak for itself. Saying you're more deserving is arrogant, no matter how you say it.

Um perez hilton is one of the biggest blog sites out there it gets a gillion hits a day. I am not saying that Christina is the reason she is big, just saying she helped her career a tiny bit.

1) because singing live in front of millions should be something a performer enjoys and aspires to do, not fear and find difficult
2) gaga wasn't just sitting around when someone heard her sing and her life has changed ever since. she has been working at this for most of her life. she used to be signed with def jam but was later dropped.... thats what the song paper gangsta is about.
