DANITY KANE
Welcome to the Dollhouse
Released: March 18, 2008
Genres: Pop, dance-pop, R&B, hip hop
Country: United States
Ever since I heard Damaged I knew that this album was going to be HOT. And I wasn't wrong. Welcome to the Dollhouse is such an amazing CD. I love every track. From Bad Girl to Is Anybody Listening. It's just great all the way through, which is very rare these days. It contains some of the catchiest beats I've heard this year. My personal favorite on the album is definitely Sucka for Love. It's magnificent and the production stands out on the album. Another favorite on the album is Is Anybody Listening. It should have been released as a single. There are also some hot bangers like Pretty Boy and 2 of You. I hope that their 3rd album is just as hot as this one, with or without Aubrey and D. Woods (they weren't my favorite members anyway
). BOW!
Favorite tracks:- Pretty Boy
- Sucka for Love

ASHLEE SIMPSON
Bittersweet World
Released: April 22, 2008
Genres: Pop rock, dance-pop, electropop, new wave, pop, urban pop
Country: United States
Probably the most underrated album of the year. Ashlee really stepped it up this time. I really loved the music direction that she went in this time. The electronic 80s sound really works for her. Timbaland produced the first single, Outta My Head (Ay Ya Ya), and the song was accompanied by an AMAZING video. I thought that it would obviously be a hit. Well, it wasn't... People couldn't recognize the brilliance of the song and the album, so they both flopped really hard. And it's even sadder because I think Bittersweet World is Ashlee's best work yet. But hopefully she won't give up and will bring us some more hot albums in the future.
