Britney stans will go on for days about how she's a legend, then they'll post those photoshopped pics of her, MJ, and Madonna, et cetera. Truth is, she's really nothing more than a teen star. Her personal downfalls OVERSHADOW her musical career, and she's more of a stock character than a music legend. Legends are artists that revolutionized music with their TALENT, and most artists try to paint themselves as the anti-Britney (i.g., Gaga with the "I don't lip synch" rhetoric).

Although there is nothing about her to qualify as legendary, Miss Spears has definitely made a name for herself as a Pop Legend, and nobody can take that away from her.
