Chart Notes:This week there are a of drop-offs from the chart. New videos have really helped some artists like Ariana (Break Free is possibly my favorite music video of the year, competing with Dark Horse) while hurt others: Katy's This Is How We Do was killed by its awful video. In other news, the Flawless Remix dropped off competely, I was into it while I reviewed it for ATRL critic, but Flawless was always one of the weakest tracks on it's album, inferior to Bow Down / I Been On in every way.

This week, under-appreciated album track Turnt, becomes the first track to debut on my perennial chart and it will probably stick around (100% of my scrobbled The-Dream tracks are from this song). As for albums, I'm really getting into Amerie's In Love & War which is amazing, I can't believe it never caught on and as I'm getting through my listening list, I'm discovering a lot of cool things. I've been busy so I couldn't redesign my chart, but soon! Thanks for the comments!

it works perfectly with my user name. You know I volunteer at my local botanical gardens once a week Can I at least have some rights to it

Also, my perennial 5 is older/recurrent songs. I don't really listen to many singles and usually listen to albums straight through. But when I do play singles, they're usually from a handful of like 20-50 songs from my 30,000 library (only about 25 of my songs have play counts greater than 20 after a play count reset at the beginning of the year). If I made my chart just my top 10 most played songs without restriction, it would probably be the same chart every week, just slightly reordered, so I made my top 5 songs that are older than 6 months.

Perennial plants are plants that live for longer than 2 years and stick around for a long time so I figured the name would describe the chart and fit with my non-plant inspired user name.
