Beyoncé obviously doesn't give a flying frog for her singles, so that does not determine success for her.
Her goal was to share her album to the world, which she did more successfully than Katy...another goal was probably to top Forbes and Times at the same time, which she did.
Beyoncé has basically solidified herself as a legend with this era, and atrl thinks Katy Perry and her 2 #1 singles = more success? I don't get you guys TBQH.

Katy has stated MULTIPLE times that she didn't want the PRISM era to be Teenage Dream 2.0 success wise. The only people who wanted 7 #1's were people that on purpose knew they would get disappointed. The same people who would then go on and try to discredit how HUGE Roar and Dark Horse was, while knowing they were the biggest female hits of 2013 and 2014.
Beyonce didn't have any huge hits and their album sales right now are about the same. And because of this yes, the PRISM era is bigger.
And don't try to pull that Forbes crap

The only reason Beyonce is #1 on Forbes is because of her tour. If the PRISMATIC World Tour started last year, Katy would be alot higher on Forbes too
