This is true to an extent, but not for the reasons ya'll are thinking. It isn't that Interscope isn't allowing Gaga to release Act II because they think ARTPOP was an utter failure. It's because she literally has one album release left on her contract, and they and Gaga have agree to let C2C be that album. Once C2C is released in September, Gaga's contract will be up.
Good, not only would it not bring her or Interscope any substantial amount of money or success, but it'd be **** anyway, if it's just the bits that weren't good enough for ARTPOP Act I and that was **** anyway. Either leak it or lock it up forevah, and maybe steal one or two tracks and rework them for the deluxe edition of the next record.
Let's be real though; if you had the former biggest popstar in the world signed to your label and she released an album that severely harmed her career, would you let her do it again?
Don't believe it. She never intended to make it or release it. It's just a unfounded rumor put out by trolls, She told you ealier she intends to move on the newer projects.
