And I wonder where Birthday would be without the payola and Capitol push. Clearly radio isn't continuing to spin it because the public wants to hear it considering its abysmal sales.
Obviously G.U.Y. flopped but the ARTPOP era has been messy from the beginning and Gaga didn't have the luxury of having her single shoved down people's throats despite them not wanting it. Your comebacks are so damn predictable. Admit Birthday flopped and move on. Katy can only sell 3 million with 2 monster hits...I would love to see how she'd sell if she had an era as messy as the ARTPOP era.
Okay, and? Gaga has had one underperforming album. Katy will gets hers eventually...and if TIHWD underperforms too that time might be coming sooner than you think because then over half of the singles released from the Prism era would have not done well.
Again, you say karma was a bitch to the Monsters well it'll definitely be one for the Kats as well. Can't wait!
And yeah obviously she was going to improve in touring...she didn't even start out touring arenas last time around.
She won't come close to topping the TD era in single or album sales.
