Not happy about Miranda's sales. Was hoping she'd flop hard so we'd get her to go back to her Gunpowder & Lead days

Let's be thankful "Platinum" is miles better than that trash she recorded in ten minutes "Four the Record".
I thoroughly enjoy this new album it takes me back to her "Revolution" sound, which is also my favourite Miranda album, and she sounds so confident singing this material and it doesn't bore me to pieces. "Girls", "Little Red Wagon", "Smoking and Drinking" , "Bathroom Sink" and "Somethin' Bad" are all flawless.
My problem is that she's justified as being as big as Carrie and Taylor in country and yet she still can't debut with more than 200,000? She just had the biggest first week single sales of her career, "Somethin Bad" with 107,000, and she recently won three Academy of Country Music Awards which included "Record of the Year". This alone should've had her debuting big. This says something if she's winning all these accolades but can't debut decent.

So, here's what the next few weeks are looking up to be:
June 3: Miranda Lambert debuts at #1, solidifies herself on Taylor/Carrie level.
June 10: Jack White debuts at #1, quickly vanishes.
June 17: Another #1 for LP, but Sam outsells them in the long run. Lana does good as well.
June 24: Easy #1 for Ed.
July 1: #1 for Trey, who quickly disappears as well.
Don't know about the rest of the summer, but 5SOS should definitely reach the top.

50's new album isn't really official imo. I think he's releasing a new one later this year.

This is Miranda's first number one album, Carrie and Taylor have three each. Carrie and Taylor never debuted with less than 200K, Miranda is yet to reach it.
She is most certainly not at Taylor or Carrie's level.

Yas Miranda.
People on ATRL undermine country artists, their selling and star power.

She's never had crossover success like Taylor and Carrie (who does get spins on HAC, which does count for something). Her sales are fine. Especially in today's declining market.

Congrats to Miranda but the true story will be Mariah's Week 2 decline and the potential meltdowns.

YOUR NEW RELEASES: With her fifth release, RCA Nashville's Miranda Lambert will score her biggest yet first week; with each album, she has bested her previous debut. Rhino's reissues of Led Zeppelin first three albums look solid for a Top 15 debut, with at least one set likely in the Top 10. Sony Masterworks' If/Then: A New Musical ST, featuring Idina Menzel is also a strong Top 15 contender, as Frozen breakout Menzel will perform on the Tony Awards this Sunday. Here are the week's key debuts:
Miranda Lambert (RCA Nashville) 170-180k
50 Cent (G-Unit) 35-40k
Now Country 7 (NOW) 25-28k
Led Zeppelin I (Rhino) 25-28k
Led Zeppelin II (Rhino) 24-27k
Led Zeppelin III (Rhino) 24-27k
Lucy Hale (DMG Nashville) 22-25k
If/Then: A New Musical (Sony Masterworks) 15-18k
Soundgarden, Superunknown 20th Anniversary (UMe) 10-12k
Birdy (Atlantic) 10-12k
Be advised that when those Zep and Soundgarden reissues come in there will be a lot of old guys in the office playing air guitar. You've been warned. (6/4p)

At this rate she could top her hubby's 199k opening last year.
