Gaga has more accolades.. one being the biggest artist to debut in the digital era. She's on par with Britney in some respect. Apart from her number ones, what does Katy Perry have? No groundbreaking tour numbers, no Forbes entries. Poor daT.

And her best selling album is at if we use the biggest number 6 million ww.Her songs have the same candy pop theme.The main problem is that she doesn't excite me musically,if we forget stats for a bit.

There's no point in arguing with people on ATRL about legacies. ATRL is so single-focused that they think #1 singles are all that matters. Forget awards, overall sales, tour gross, and impact, if you don't have 30598239 #1 singles, you're nothing.

It just goes to show that at the end of the day #1 singles are all some can fall back on.

I completely agree.
TD was such a flawless album (apart from a few tracks) while Prism is just disappointing.

One thing is for sure.If the next era of Katy is still in this format,things and history tells me that the things will not be this bright.I am so tired already with the same offfering.Roar may have been big,but it's not memorable for me at all .While BR still has some spark in it while listening it.
