What!? Her album is beautiful! She has one of the best voices EVER! Amazing, and how her voice is layered and how she uses it, it's just perfection. Listen to "The Great Divide" in FULL. It'll change your mind!!

1. Last Night - There's something really addicting about this song, despite her horrendous vocals (which had they been great, would have scrapped a 10), I really like it a lot.
2. Identified - Very poppy almost like Hilary Duff's song "Metamorphosis." Except with older lyrics. I like this song because it's really fun, even though supposedly being meaningful. She wants this as the next single & I believe that it would be a good choice.
3. First Bad Habit - I love this song, but I just feel like there's something missing in the third chorus. Great song.
4. Hook It Up - Some of the lyrics are terrible & I don't like how Vanessa sings on the hook, it would have probably been a 10 had these been corrected.
5. Don't Ask Why - The demo was so much better. It's pretty bland now.
6. Sneakernight - It's gotten only slightly better after the video. Still terrible.
7. Amazed - I really like the rap in this, plus the song is so catchy.
8. Don't Leave - Same as "Don't Ask Why."
9. Paper Cut - Kinda ehh about it. I like it, but I don't.
10. Party On The Moon - This song was meant to be over-synthesized. I love the idea of the song, & the instrumental.
11. Did It Ever Cross Your Mind - Love this song. It's really beautiful.
12. Gone With The Wind - Really boring. I tried listening to it twice & yeah...

The four first songs are very good & strong on their own. Then a couple of filler, one good song, more filler, two great songs & a boring song. Some of the songs also sound very similar. I like the girl, but she just can't seem to make a GREAT album. She has nearly no contribution to it & the hype of a more mature R&B/Soulful album was very ironic because it's SOOOO pop. I like it better than "V." But "Say Ok" easily trumps 10/12 of these songs.

"Vulnerable" is the best thing from the era & it's not even on the album. I'd give that song a 10/10. "Vulnerable" & "Committed" would have made better additions than "Sneakernight" & "Gone With The Wind." Had "Don't Ask Why" & "Don't Leave" not been changed from their demo forms, this may have been one of the better albums of the year for me. But so far, Nine Inch Nails, Jesse McCartney, Raven Symone & a couple of others truimph.

Last Night - 7/10
Not a good idea to start the album with, but its a good song. The chorus is the best part of the song, and literally saves the song itself.

Identified - 10/10
Amazing track! It would do really well if released, and the song also reminds me of "Piece Of Me".

First Bad Habit - 10/10
Another good track, it would also do pretty well if released! Now I know why it's so hard to choose a second single!

Hook It Up - 10/10
I love the chorus! Again should be a single at one point, I pray this album have 6 singles...LOL

Don't Ask Why - 8/10
I like the song...but it's kind of bland

A pretty good song! I wouldn't mind if it became a single, cause Lil Mama def brought fire to this one!

Again I like the song, but it can get bland.

This song is pretty catchy! It would do really well if released to Radio Disney, but I wouldn't want it to be a mainstream single.

I like the chorus, but once again you can ignore it, if your not paying attention to the song.

Gone With The Wind - 4/10
I can't seem to like this. It's boring and not catchy which is a bad formula :-/

I'm actually really surprised at how good this album is. Her sound is way more mature than I expected. It exceeded my expectations to be honest. HOWEVER; yes, of course there's gonna be a howevers! Ironically, contrary to the title of the album, it lacks an identity. It has no clear direction and I felt that most of the songs sound like they are inspired by other pop songs that has already been heard before. For example, "First Bad Habit" reminds me of U+UR Hand by P!nk, "Identified" sounds like Hilary Duff/POM, "Hook Up" sounds like Jessica Simpson "Fired Up", "Don't Leave" sounds like Jordin Sparks "Tattoo", "Paper Cut" sounds almost identical to Hilary Duff's "Come Clean". I couldn't tolerate the last three tracks and the Auto-Tune is kinda overused.

There's also ONE BIG FLAW in the whole album, well, at least for me. I've noticed that most of the songs start very well during the verses and once reach the chorus..BOOM! they get extremely cheesy and very 90s Teeny Popish. It kinda annoys me.

But on the good side, this album definitely worth the listen. Pure Pop fans will surely enjoy the ride. There are no entirely horrendous songs, it's just the lack of originality that bothers me. And a HUGE A+ for "Last Night", i believe it's a Mark Ronson track, right? This song is one of the greatest opening tracks ever and probably the reason that encouraged me to listen to this album. Absolutely fresh and very Winehouse-esque, well, it sounds more like Duff but I despise her so I'll use Amy's name since she's the original ^_^. She sounds very mature and I wished the whole album had this sound. SECOND SINGLE PLZ. And "Sneakernight"? Great song right there. Vanessa is getting there and looks like she has a promising future. Ashley Tisdale can eat her pinocchio nose out.

Ehh, nothing interesting about it.
It's a change from her latest album, that's for sure, but it brings nothing new for ME.
I give it 5/10
